Why is it now that if you are trying to stop the scouts from leaving and your in the square. The scouts can still get away. I don't think it used to be this way. If your there fighting, pickup shouldn't be possible. They haven't got away clean. Specially since several times this has happened to me we were up on kills.

It always was that way, and it was why Scouting mode's gamemode itself is silly and why you had the divebombing Locust getting the win when teams care about that.

Always been that way. As Krivvan said, its one of the many issues that make the game-mode kinds sucky.

Nobody cares. Scouting objectives barely influence the outcome of invasion. Those who chose not to fight are just screwing themselves out of money and loyalty. It is their loss. I wouldn't get to upset about it.

Yeah it's always been that way, and it's always been annoying. Thankfully, with the events requiring match score I haven't really seen anyone hiding for 5+ minutes just to race to the dropship last second which used to happen all the time.

Scouting is Medium/Light Brawl mode. Winning/Losing barely matters

Almost every random Clan player I saw when doing solo scouting was complaining that IS was OP with Bushwackers while IS players were complaining that Clan was OP with Huntsmen.

Stormcrows being considered super OP is a little outdated though.

Well this event was a bad idea, so many pugs i've met said after the event they will never play it again, having your customers hate parts of your game is just stupid..

Honestly no IS mechs can boat dual Gauss plus lasers or dual lbx 20s with vomit and not shut down hell no is mechs can even boat dual lbx 20s..

The cheese is stupid flamers and machine gun spam everywhere.. Yes top tier IS players can do ok, the rest will just avoid this like the plague.. Great game no wonder the population is dying..

Yeah NFI where the SCR is "strong" comes from. It's one of the weakest choices right now.

The IS answer is generally the Bushwacker which trades slightly less firepower for more HP. Or mechs bringing MRMs, which give IS greater point blank firepower than Clan mechs, but do require truly point blank ranges to use effectively.

MRMs are so inaccurate its not funny.. and Bushwackers legs fold faster than a prostitute..

Bushwhacker legs fold fast with 70+ leg armour and what, 40 structure IIRC?

Compared to a SCR? NVA? HMN? Which have 50-55 and 24-28 structure?

lol... Come on dude... People around here aint that dumb. Ok, maybe some are, but that comment is just silly.

That's why they shine at point blank. I mean literally point blank. At that point all their damage becomes pinpoint, and it becomes scary.
