Faction play phase 2 event is over 4 days before we were told it would end well done P.G.I. well done. another royal messup.






6 games away from completing the damned event and now I cant complete it unless I break my liao contract ? 4 days before you said event ends....... you need to tell us stuff like this before these changes happen, Turn regular queue back on in tandem with these other events.

And to the forum warriors, there is a huge penalty if i break contract for me and some others that your too ignorant to have worked out.

You might want to check support, I think PGI is still open ATM.

You still get loot bags for another 4 days
And there are no penalties for breaking faction now. Except you still need to do 10 probation matches.

WHICH IS A problem... who wants to play 20 probation matches. or try and find a davion/stiener unit? this is a huge fail.

You cant get loot bags unless you are steiner/davion for the next 2 days then nova cat / the other one for the last 2 days.

There is a huge penalty for breaking my current contract actually. work it out.

I picked steiner and now I still can't click on "fight" and get a game.

Col, your problem is you've gone merc steiner not loyalist steiner.

Doesn't help me with my problem though.

No, it has no effect, mercs can start fights as well as get the event rewards just fine.


Click "event details" above "fight now", then click go now.

It works for me and opens the normal invasion/scouting window. I tried to restart MWO client twice and the fight now button only zooms in on a planet.

I dont care about the steiner vs davion warhorn's or the nova cat vs viper ones,

There is an event we were shown a countdown showing we had 7 days to complete. The in game Event has it as available for 7 days. Then after 3 days you cant continue it unless you with to penalise yourself in multiple ways...

What part of "Lucky charms faction play event" did you not get ? it says no where in that event that you have only 3 days to complete it unless you switch factions.

No, from the looks of it, the phase 2 of the lucky charms event is broken up into 3 sections.

From the 26th to 28th it is only Steiner vs Davion.
28th till 30th Steel Viper vs Nova Cats
The standard IS vs Clan conflict finished on the 26th.

As you can see from below image, contract bonus's are no longer available, I still have 40% liao cbills bonus for not changing contract since before patch, I have no intention of changing faction for 1 warhorn and intended to finish final 6 loot bags I needed 3rd day of a 7 day event, only to find after a few days the event is no longer available, when it is supposed to be available for 7 days, it does not say the subevents will make the main event incompleteable for many without breaking contracts.

In the past they have always left normal Faction play queue's on when running IS vs IS Clan vs Clan events at the same time, for those who dont want to play that way.



For those who dont have brains and say there is now no penalties except 10 game probation no cbills. A penalty is anything that impacts negatively. I think you have forgotten 2 things that are penalties for going Davion/Steiner nova/viper.

Merc contract bonus's from before patch, since there are now no merc contract bonus's active losing 40% cbills bonus for 6 scouting games of loot bags is insane when the event showed we had 4 more days to complete it.

Adding and removing unit members if unit leader does not want to change / is not around for next 2 days incurs huge cbill costs.

^ then that event should have been a 3 day event and over by how it is worded. But it says 7 days to complete it, I cant complete it, unless i make contract changes which were not advertised as a requirement.

The lucky charms event is 7 days, 3 days IS vs Clans, 2 days IS-IS, 2 days Clan-Clan, is exactly how it is worded. All phases gives loot bags if you participate. Sorry you missed out, but GJ keeping that bonus contract.

Yeah, nah, dunno.
Can only think it's more to do with how the event is managed and displayed in that window.
For something like this it would have been clearer if the Faction Event was a heading that expanded out into the sub phases so it didn't look like the Davion vs Steiner event was a separate event.

The triskelion warhorn is pretty meh anyways. Steiner warhorn much better. Too bad I'm away else I'll be slaying some davion scums

Getting to play in FP is rare cause no one plays it. These event was one of the few opportunities we get to play and what does PGI do?....they make it so that only the two warring factions can fight. I guess the rest of the IS is on a truce? If your going to do something like that let us at least switch faction with no probation .
