How do you get credit for this event? I have been running with counter ECM on but not getting credit. Do you have to "activate" counter ecm after having it not active while within range to get credit?

As near as we can figure, literally everything but Counter ECM will work. UAVs, PPCs, NARC, and I'm pretty sure I finished my event by literally destroying the ECM. With lasers.

I just ran my Hellbringer with ECM on counter mode and got it in one match.

Someone got to target or shoot the mech you counter ECM-ing.

I have had "Counter ECM Locked Damage" reward at the end of match screen, but it didn't count for countering ecm for the event....

I got mine doing the UAV detection part of the event. I think you just need an enemy ECM mech in range of your UAV to score that.

I got mine by doing nothing out of the ordinary. No use of counter ECM, UAVs, or whatever. I THINK just being able to lock on to a target under ECM is all that's needed.

Or maybe the event triggers if someone on your team does the counter ECM thing. Maybe.

uav does the trick; and since you're going to launch 1-2 uavs anyway..

also: no worries, plenty of time for the event.
did the event yesterday..er..yesternight for 2 accounts in 4 or five games together.
God I like those urbies

Yup easy when you are dropping UAVs in the middle of the enemy death ball after suicide charge.

Maybe your targets with ECM were running in counter as well? If nobody's on disrupt, nobody can counter anything.

I took an old Spider and fooled around with red scouts on an Incursion map. Wasn't sure about counter ECM registering so i altered it a few times and came out with 4 successes. So that worked.
Thinking about it, maybe you only get credit when switching while inside range?

Anyway, did they increase the frequency of those events in some stealth patch?
For the medium assist event i got 24 in one match, seems a bit inflated to me.

I did it using an ECM in counter.

Had counter ecm damage, with ecm in counter mode but no plain ecm counter until popping a UAV in my last match.

i got mine without really trying for it and im not sure how because i wasnt running ecm mechs at all.
