Option to remove the compass HUD elements from head-turning. Or just de-clutter the HUD, although this is not as desirable as fixing the HUD elements to the main reticle because it lowers the Simulation elements.

Why? Well basically it's too confusing, plus you have two reticles to deal with already. Maybe it was intended to be less confusing, but that didn't work out correctly. Since what the pilot really wants to know is which way their mech is facing since that is already obfuscated by having a rotating torso independent of the movement direction.

This would make the HUD compass function like a ship's binnacle telling you where the mech was looking rather than which way you are looking and I think that is more relevant to a mech pilot. Make sense?

I would suggest voting only if you have tried using head-tracking gear enabled and have seen how confusing the current set-up is. Or if you know what is happening now. It's multiple choice for better results.

I am just asking for the "option" to remove the compass element of the HUD from the player/pilot head direction and leave it fixed on the mech. It really doesn't work. Doesn't convey correct information anyway since it is a very compressed compass that is designed only for looking straight ahead.

At least let us remove it with a de-clutter HUD command. I would really love to use Head Tracker gear with MWO, but it's too confusing when the HUD elements split in two. It just doesn't work right now.
