I have sent 2 separate E-mails to support about this and have gotten no response.
I collected the Mountain line camouflage and the 150 MC Urbie event rewards, one after another. I went to my garage, went to camo and tabbed owned items. There's the mountain line camo. Okay i put it on, set the colors and save. My MC wallet is at 25MC. It was at 775. A bit nonplussed i go into my profile purchase history and there is three additions of 50MC and one subtraction of 750MC.
Obviously there has been some mistake i figure and so i go to support and send an E-mail. Two days later no response. So i go back to support and send a second. Wait patiently for 5 or 6 days. Still nothing. No message. No MC. Nothing. Very pro PGI. Love you guys.

did you collect the reward manually before applying the skin?
nobody at PGI really plays as far as i can tell, they may not know the answer.

Two days is not enough time for PGI to typically make a response. I would also have to ask when you sent the E-mails and also what day of the week. PGI doesn't work on the weekends (like most places), so if you sent a report Friday night, they wont even get a chance to look at it till Monday morning (their time). Even your 5-6 day frame may only end up being 4 business days, which still isn't exactly a lot of time for them to respond.
Not to mention what category of support you submitted to. Also, by sending a second report, you've only farther muddled down the process possibly...
I one time had the game purchase a warhorn when I was only previewing it. I never even hit save on the thing. They refunded the amount and removed the warhorn from my account.
I'm going to take a guess that you hadn't claimed your prize yet, or that you hadn't given the game a chance to refresh and inject it into your account. It's easy to just click pass the warnings and accidentally purchase something. Then again, the game could have glitched.
Overall, be patient. PGI will get to you as they get to your ticket. Unless you had intentions to spend that MC immediately, does it matter if it takes a little longer to get resolved? From my own personal dealings with PGI support, I have full confidence that they can fix this problem. Just have to give them time.
