Hd Died With My Install, Cannot Reinstall Portal.

I lost my hard drive with my MWO install with it, I tried to reinstall the portal but it keeps telling me that it is already installed. When I attempt uninstall with windows, it tells me that my old install point is "not a valid shortfile name" and I cannot install it. Afaik my only real options at this point is Regedit, but I have had no luck finding it in the registry as of yet.

Anyone else have an idea?

its not ideal, but you could install the steam version, if you've ever signed up for steam before .... and install the game from there ....

Could use CCleaner... It generally works on stuff like that.
