The C if you want to run trip UAC5 with some back up lasers ( can then take the D left arm and and make a dual gauss/lasers walking gorilla)
The A stock has decent jumps, and laser quirks for 4 ERLL and more heatsinks than should be necesarry (and they don't really work lol)
but you can just avoid that chassis entirely as it has some pretty bad/easily isolated hitboxes that make the Night Gyr look like an Atlas.
For the nightstar, off top of my head can't recall, but there is one variant that has armor quirks instead of structure. That would probably suit you best Ted.

Great LRM boat off the line..
It's as if PGI asked me "hey Vellron, how do we make a good LRM boat?"

9FC is good for being a faster striker type
9J can do ERLLas spam quite well

Do not buy the Nightstar until you are a die hard assault fan in search for a challange.
The mech is too cumbersome to be of any good and has so terrible quirks and hitboxes that the only reason it doesn't stink to high heaven is that your nose gave up to register it 10miles before you could see it.
Otherwise the 10P and 9P do suck a bit less than the others. (10P>9P>9S rest is just hot steamy garbage)

Maybe, but I'm doing pretty well with mine so far. Haven't lost a game with my 10P yet and I only ran it half skilled just to test it out (correction: 6W:1L). Doesn't seem as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
I think they're an interesting chassis. Challenging? Probably, but not as DOA as the Sunspider side torsos that's for sure. If you like the concept, I say go for it.

Looks like the missile Nova Cat is my first target. How does it compare to the SNV-A?
Thanks for the responses so far.

It's not nearly as durable.
It has 2 more missile points which allows for 6 lrm15. Problem is being non-Artemis clan missiles really suck at hitting things unless you are up against diehard potatoes.
Can also do something like 6ATM6, or 2ATM12/2ATM 9
Just be sure to throw on C-AP and a TC.
And do not by any means try to brawl with it with srms. Is too slow for how fragile it is.
