This is was an invaluable feature in previous Mechwarrior games and is still greatly needed in MWO. Backing into team mates and obstacles is frustrating when trying to keep your front armor towards the primary threat. Increased situational awareness will allow for additional strategies and prevent excessive clumping.

Reverse cameras are a basic feature on enclosed fighting vehicles of 2018. It feels absurd not to have them on the most advanced combat vehicles that exist in 3050.

This feature has been requested since the game was in beta. Since that time, the persisting rumor is that the game engine cannot handle a second rendered image like that.

I'd tell you to search the forums to see how many times this feature has been requested and the arguments against it, but you probably know how well the forum search tool works.

Whether or not you believe there are technical arguments against implementing this does not really matter though. We can be fairly certain we won't ever see this feature in MWO simply because 6 years have gone by and we still don't have it.

Maybe start a MW5 thread and request it be added to that game, since that seems to be where PGI is devoting most of its attention to these days.

EDIT: spelling
