Dear PGI,

your continuing weapons nerfs are good but not enough
I can not understand why the red mechs are so OP.
Every time I loose a match it’s against those dreaded red ones.
For games sake please nerf the reds.

If clan machine guns are an issue and need revision, wouldn't the piranhas ability to mount 12 of them exasperate the imbalance ? Even if you balance machine guns ... the Piranha can still boat a lot more of them.

Sadly, it's NOT the Clans' Machine Guns at fault. It's just the Piranha being able to boat so many that happens to be the problem. The best fix would be to apply a Negative MG ROF Quirk to any Variant of the Piranha that happens to be abusing the high number of ballistic hardpoints. Then PGI could explain it by making note of how many ways the ammo would have to be fed all at the same time, remarking that the feeder can only move just so fast. I'm sure trying to feed ammo in 12 different directions can't really go all that well. :huh:

I've seen yellow team take out dozens of mechs. And that green team is clearly up to something.

I demand that PGI make the Red Team the Blue Team and the Blue Team the Red Team. That'll fix the problem once and for all! No wait, that won't work... that'll just make the Red Team complain about the Blue Team being OP.

I demand that PGI make the Blue Team the Red Team and the keep the Red Team the Red Team, so the Red Team will be both the best and worst team on the battlefield. That'll fix the problem once and for all!

If GOOD AIM are an issue and need revision, wouldn't ANY MECH's ability to mount A LOT OF WEPS exasperate the imbalance ? Even if you balance *insert w/e wep* ... the *insert the mech you cant kill and its ability to have a bunch of a for mentioned weapon you dont like* can still boat a lot more of them.

im trying to bring this back to the funny side of things.

I think we should add WoW's "pink" icons for those who do blue-on-blue damage ! That way, we'd have so many pretty colors no one could figure out who's who !!! Heck, every sections should be a different color and we'd have a rainbow ! Lets' see, that would be red, orange and yellow and blue, green and teal with pink "bad robot pilots" scattered across the colors....

Those are unfortunately the parameters set by the IP. Maybe MWO should drop all things BatteTech and use another one?

Yes, but there are aspects of the stats that are not defined by the lore, such as spread, that can be tweaked to bridge the gap between lore and balance. This game is only as good as it is thanks to the TT and lore laying out a lot of info for it. But as a PvP having lopsided tech just isn't okay.

I've always asked for N vs. M fights tailored to the drop at hand (i.e. map and game mode combination), instead of the boring 12 vs.12 symmetry all the time every time.

Ha ha!!! Well at least the blue ones show up on radar. Those reds have some kind of stealth mode going half the time. :)
