Even on defense siege, speed and mobility are handy tools to have.

Dear Clammer friend-foes:

I want to say some positive things, exklusive for you! :)

I really dont like Annis in my team and i try for weeks now, to reduce the amounts of Annis in my teams.

They are ******* slow, they clog the choke points, you cant acting & reacting fast enough for changed situations. And in attack they are WASTING TIME!! I lost several times because of these ******* Annis wavering over the map!!

If you dont have 12 Annis, the other one on the team have problems during their attack movement, because the ******* support is elsewhere but NOT AT THE ******* FRONT!!!

Its like:

*Bishop in his Cyclops leading the push like always*

"Ok Manners, lets go around that corner! Move! Go go go!"

*Bishop get shot from 12 men because his teammates are blocked by AnnihiLATERS in the choke point*


So Dear Clammers...Annis arent that good, indeed i hate them and i am not alone with this opinion in our Unit.

Speed breaks the anni, dont try to brawl it, we will farm you, dont try to lrm it, we will push you, but I'd you have high alpha ebons/hellbringers poking 3-4 different corners, your anni will be dead before 300 dmg. Then like goat said, 3 ebons and 1 streak mad dog. 2 high alpha ebons, 1 9 med pulse ebon, 1 6 ssrm mad dog. Is honestly the most try hard deck for 300-750m engagements you can have. When I'm dropping to hard hard carry a game, unless it's a snow map, that's my drop deck. All speed tweaked ebons, just backing up they still go 65+ kph. 90 kph when forward. Trying to catch a mech repositioning while cooling off after 150 pts of laser comm DMV is going to be very hard in an anni.

As Hazeclaw hinted, this was a 2108 balance thread.

Since then IS got it's own version of the Clan XL engine (the IS light engine), and that Clan XL engine was made half useless by the heat change patch anyway, so you could say the patches have further favored IS, suggesting that back in 2018 Clan mechs were still too strong.

I mostly disagree with this thread, but you are definitely in no strong position to tell OP anything about how to play this game. I dropped with Mrmike many times, and he is way above you in skill. You are a potato, in fact. Necroposting potato.

last time i joined is they had higher population. last time i played i went clan to play with my whammy iic and clan was higher population. in either case there wasn't enough players in queue to start a game.

The long lost art of laser vom is still very effective. Agree and everyone says to out-maneuver the anni but sometimes (due to objective placement, position) its just not feasible without losing.

The fact is FP is very Assault dominant and IS 100-tonners are miles above clan.
