Is PGI going to close FP for Solaris 7 startup??

I cant seem to find an answer
I am not complaining and in fact I think its a good idea

Yea, good idea forcing ppl to leave a game mode they like, so to force them to play a mode they are not interesting in.

There are few players, and from time to time I jump in.
Surely it's better to have one game mode more than one less.

Which is why I said it would be a bad idea.... forcing ppl to play what they are not interesting in, like me about solaris, is the worst marketing solution.

Yeah, last I heard, FP was going DOWN.. I have not heard or seen anything to the contrary .....

Last I heard they gonna take down na & eu servers for prolonged maintenance, and move all traffic to australian servers, cos tests have shown that they are most stabile platform for Solaris 7. No qp or fp during this time.

Estimated relaunch of na & eu, somewhere early august.

I thought it was already shut down after two minutes of searching for a match last night. My friend told me I had to wait for some specific EST/EDT time if I wanted to get a match against a top team that comes on at that time. So I still kind of think that it is already shut down. Using my imagination I was able to create skirmish with respawns out of 4 QP games. The "planet" was lost because I ran out of AMS ammo twice and did not max my 4-mech tonnage.
