Fair enough. When I pull out that Locust in game, I have been compared to a heat-seeking missile, and it's true, to an extent, Granted, killing a skilled-up mech is rather difficult, but for you average tuber it's not an issue.

Yeah, those guys are annoying. It's even funnier when you do that in something like a Mist Lynx or an Adder.

Considering that a good/lucky light pilot makes the enemy waste immense amounts of heat, ammo and firepower killing them relative to actual damage dealt, they're missing the point.

The Crooked Spear:
Light pilot leaves to flank the enemy team, only to find his entire team is following him down to the last assault, in a winding line around the edge of the map.

Most players have goals. Doing damage, raising their match score, killing the red mechs or completing objectives. But The Penguin knows better. There's only one important thing, only one True Enemy: The hated LRM and ATM. Armed with ECM and a full compliment of AMS, this mech will defiantly stand between its team and all of those who would dare ruin their picnic with inclement weather.
The Penguin's natural habitat is behind cover near the largest concentration of immobile friendly forces, but when the opportunity arises, it will go on the offensive. Charging behind the enemy lines, the Penguin will find the largest LRM mech it can find and shut it down. Not with weapons fire, though - The Penguin knows better than to meet violence with violence. Safely parked behind the LRM boat, it will shoot the missiles down at the source, protecting their teammates before the rain clouds can even get into a friendly grid square.
Battle Cry: Ha ha! 1,700 missiles shot down! New personal record! Suck it!

Mr./Ms. Consistent plays all of his/her mechs exactly the same way, regardless of weight class. Can be found staying with the team, poking repeatedly from the same location, taking positions that deprive heavier teammates of the opportunity to employ their firepower and occasionally preventing friendlies from being able to back up. Uses the 'S' key almost as much as 'W.' Natural enemies include weapons with a high alpha, mechs that can shoot and pretty much any situation that requires an ounce of initiative or imagination.
Battle Cry: "Light mechs suck."

Green: Slow paced they are waiting relaying info on reds and just waiting and it's when they are most docile. Harmless (for now)
Blue: they are blue balling the reds with ecm and have ams usually only found on HPG manifold in the basement with 1 uav they pop when team in position. (annoying but olny potatoes are effected)
Yellow: Light is cautious and is poking getting feelers out to find it's prey for himself or team. While aggressive are easily scared off with laser fire aimed in general direction. Ideal state to fight a light keep them in this state at all times if possible
Red: Aggressive light has caught the taste of blood and is in one of it's most active states more prone to risk taking but can easily be brought down to yellow if you focus them down hard enough to flee.
Red rage: The light has spotted a lone assault, LRM or a heavily critted mech and has worked themselves into a feeding frenzy. They have called backup and any light in the general vicinity will change to hunt this scrub down with unflinching zeal. They cannot be reasoned with or scared off until the offending mech is dead or they are. RUN!!

Running right to the cap point(s) where main force will head to anyway, eg on Polar.

Poor Underlying Programing Provides Increasing Experience Scores.
Originally found in the the medium Raven with the unhittable legs, these elite pilots have found their home in the light class. Their long history of utalysing known/found faults in the game is legendary and, truth be told, they are merely taking advantage of what PGI has added to the game. Good pilots in their own right, they become legends using and exploiting errors in either game design or programming to become absolute terrors on the battlefield. Usually fiercely independent, but team players, these ristars battle against any changes to their current mech's capabilities just as hard as how they battle the enemy team. First to find and exploit a weakness, whether if it's in an enemy or the game itself, these courageous men and women are usually the first over a paywall.
The problem with PUPPIES is that PGI usually discovers their error and issues changes in mechs, turning the star machine into an old dog. This usually happens shortly after they are offered for MC or XP in the MWO store. These old dogs are then usually driven out to "the farm" and rarely seen again; examples being the Oxide or Spider. Never fear, though, because PGI will have another new mech available soon afterwards where the pilots can once again show their true talent.
Battlecry:
"Git gud,scrub"
"learn 2 aim"
"It's not OP"
....as told to me by an old mechwarrior.

We've all seen this pilot.
During a short range brawl, this pilot will unexpectedly dart right into the middle of the fight, blocking his team's line of fire. After all, his handful of medium lasers are far more effective that the dual heavy Gauss assault mech he just blocked, right?
Due to his high speed maneuvers, this pilot is just as likely to be taken out by his own teammates.
Battle Cry: "Thanks for the TK, noob. Next time watch your fire."
