- What is this LMG nerf that everyone is talking about ?!
My ACH-E is still awesome so I don't really get it...
- Which reminds me BTW : When will the Spider get some love and upgraded to Arctic Cheetah like specs ?
4x MG and 1x MPL sucks compared to the 2x MPL and 6x LMG of the ACH-E
- When will the low quality textures from far and high quality textures from up close bug be fixed for Grim Plexus ?!
The bug has been submitted a long time ago and ZERO has been done about it all this time!
- People still using 32-bits systems : How the heck did that happen ?!
It's 2018 and x86-64 systems are available since 2005 or so !!

Some people are playing the game on barely-minimum-spec hardware. I remember someone arguing in the Steam forums that his GeForce 8400GS should run it because it has enough VRAM (his understanding of PC technology was stuck in the 90s and he was unable to wrap his mind around the concept of a GPU).
Other than that, there are system builders who sell their clients machines with 32-bit OS - especially lower-end systems.

What's the difference between the four levels of rarity?
What reason would I have to choose a Common over an Ultra-rare or vice versa?
How are supply caches even acquired?

While I would *love* buffs for my spiders (first light I ever really mastered). They really are a lot harder to kill than ACHs. My 5D with ECM and 3 MPL... love that mech!

Seasoned veterans will take a shot at an offered lock, keep an eye on their crosshairs, and only continue shooting if they get a hit. Taking a few 50-50 chance shots isn't going to cripple their contribution.
Alternatively, seasoned veterans know how to keep someone effectively stunlocked behind cover so that brawlers can get in range while while people curse at them for using tactics a bit more complicated than 'damage = gud.' But unless you're in that person's group (or their head) and you know what they're trying to accomplish, there's absolutely no way for you to tell the difference between this and 'lolrocks.'
Which is not to say that a lot of legit derping doesn't go on with LRMs, but the same applies to any weapon system, like 'seasoned veterans' shooting small lasers at someone 500 meters away.

After every match, players will earn Supply Cache Points (SCP) which are displayed in a progression bar. A new element in the game's front end displays progress to the next Supply Cache. When a player earns enough SCP to fill the progression bar, they will be awarded a Supply Cache which contains all kinds of rewards, and then resets the SCP progression bar back to zero and the process repeats.
Once a player has earned a Supply Cache, the contents inside of it can be viewed. Each Supply Cache contains 4 items randomly picked from an item pool based on the Supply Cache's rarity. All 4 items are given to the player when the Supply Cache is opened.
So, if one can earn more than 1 point per match for these crates and the counter resets to zero after earning one ... does this mean points get simply lost? Sounds like a bad idea ...

part of the problem for me is that the majority of folks that play seem to have the attitude that everyone elses health sitrep is as good as theirs is, or better.. " you don't need no zoom at 600 m range", or "how could you miss, why did you twitch your aim as you fired" are just a couple of examples of negative comments from other players over the years... some folks are able to see that good, others can't... some folks have nerve damage, others don't... before you go to make a comment like those I mentioned above, think about it before you say something... Things like diabetes can affect vision and the nerves... I don't like the way the gauss rifles work, as for me the little box regarding the charging of the gauss rifles is a bit hard to see with everything else I need to keep an eye on... so I don't use gauss rifles...
Well said.
I'm a salty mofo when I play sometimes because I'm so competitive, but I try not to razz on a player because of what could be a physical limitation... However, if a solid call is made, you don't listen and it hurts the team, I'm unlikely to stay silent.

Or, perhaps they just substract the crate "cost" from the points counter. How about let's wait and see?

That's fair. Still, 'Perpetual Scrubdum' is still a thing in spite of people 'testing the waters' on the shots. (Though, to clarify, I meant people who splatter 2x20s into rocks... More than once.)

I recently upgraded to an SSD and MWO does load significantly faster than it did (everything does), but your internet connection speed and proximity to one of the server farms makes a big difference too.
Also, on a side note, I just noticed the website redesign and rebranding, it looks pretty good, but I will miss the older more militaristic look though. And I noticed that they removed "A BATTLETECH GAME" also, so I guess I can't complain about any changes that deviate from lore now (although every purchase I have made in this game was because it was "A BATTLETECH GAME"), but anyhow, Solaris looks pretty fun.

Add me to the list. I both find this Color Scheme rather extreme, as well as some of the Link Color changes to be rather unintuitive. This site now needs a "Style Changer" in the User Profile, or at least at the bottom of all the pages. Maybe we need to go poke Russ Bullock, Paul Inouye, Matt Newman, Tina Benoit, Bobby Jubraj, Chris Lowrey, and/or Krist Smith about this? Or maybe one of the seven (see what I did there?) of them could just point us at whoever actually came up with this New Site Design? Frankly, seeing what happened, I think I personally could have done one hell of a lot better. They even left Moderator Names in too dark a color on this new design.

Even if it is, they didn't need to go full-blast insane on the design. Hell, and I'm not yelling at you, just simply out loud from frustration... WHERE'S THE DANGED NEWS ANNOUNCEMENT THAT SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED BEFORE THEY CHANGED IT ALL?!?!? I can just imagine the number of people who saw the New Site Design and ran away immediately because they didn't recognize it.

That's so overdue that it became a running joke some time ago. The odds of them fixing that are the same as a Monthly Patch that makes everyone happy.

it's not being replaced. they're just adding Solaris in, THEN getting onto remaking FW better. people've just been bugging about Solaris for a long time.
