Granted not everyone can run the Anni ppc style, but those that can absolutely wreck with it so I don't think team damage is necessary.
Besides the meta cheese Anni is just walking god mode.

There is also an ANH variant without ballistics, so it's pretty much stuck using things like Heavy PPC's to fight. Now, that doesn't mean you should be standing 900 meters from the enemy and 500 meters from the rest of your team, but that mech literally has no other options that make remote use of the chassis tonnage.
