Since there is talk about adding more dialogue from our favorite announcer, perhaps the MWO players could make some suggestions for future Solaris commentary. I'll start:

When the mech tonnage is from two different weight classes:

so one idea is to slip in some Battletech history (lore) whenever you can

second idea is to slip in the Military side of the battlemechs
like hailing from the halls of the Nagelring war college

so what your doing is getting sets of phrases

like humor
history
military
location
mercenary
factory or sponsor backed
team/unit/company

then you rotate these phrases

It would be nice if his commentary was even remotely accurate to the matchup.

Hearing "These two mechwarriors are so closely matched its a 50/50 chance either could win"

When one guy is 1800 elo, 48-4 and running a quad ac5 CTF
and the other is 1350 elo, 1-8 and running an xl HBK-4SP

The only thing that was a 50/50 chance was if the 48-4 guy was going to get bored enough of camping his elevator to actually enter the map and have to put the minimal viable effort needed forth to win the match.
