I would appreciate at least a slightly grayer tone of white for the thread titles if this is the scheme they are sticking with.

That's just too sharp for the font size versus the background color.

Put your hands over your eyes and see if you got dazzle colours in the darkenss. I have.

It is particularly bad on the forum page its all that white text

Well, it has been quite some time since I last had to use a css override addon ... but #a0a0a0 for links in the forum is just more eye friendly that this hard white on black / extreme dark grey.

I like how forum users names alone got changed. Why not Devs and Mods too? Why leave them out?
