In short though...
-Somewhat awkward hardpoints
-ECM is useful, but its still huge and only the most puggy of pugs will be deterred by it
-Good weapon placement
-Walking CT that means you absolutely cannot get up close, or stand still, or use anything that requires face time
Can't stand the thing so far, personally. Have survived one a match in it, and every death has been by CT.

I have a few build ideas for the FNR-5E & FNR-6U plus a terribad build for the Wrath

But you know what? I like a challenge and to me it's BORING to play a mech like a piranha which to me is stupidly over powered with 12 HMGs. But hey, it's just my opinion folks! Have fun as this really is what it should be all about...FUN.

I can't possibly see why that would be a good thing.

He has a point. If by some crazy happenstance the Fafnir could get away with mounting a XL, it would really be a beast.

I guess that could be useful in the FNR-6U? Maybe?
It's a stretch.
Yeah....the mech does stretches from sea to shinning sea.

...How?
The Fafnir reachs a hardpoint limit before a meaningful engine cap, generally. Going XL could maybe ad 8kph, I guess, but I have doubts as to whether that would make a difference.
