Or just wait a few a day or two for the high performing players to be boosted to high ELO, then you won't have to worry about facing them.

Or you can just not actually deal with that bit of reality and go back to QP, secure in your delusions. Solaris just insures that there is no illusion between you being good or bad- there is no team to use as meat shields or to blame on your wins or losses.
It's really not for everyone. A clear look in the mirror can be more than some people can stand, not when there's no massively biased PSR system to push everyone to the point where they're "good, I'm in Tier 1".

I might be overreacting, but it have happened before with some logical reasoning.
But who am I to judge, havent even played a match in S7 yet.
Cant say anything really, the game decides to go " NAHAHA, you didnt say the magic word NAHAHA!" and shuts down. The game lasted long enough for me to paint my mechs and test out some of them heroes.

Well, I cannot say you're overreacting when the flamer got nerfed even before the mode was released.
But then again I guess I should be very thankful it was not banned as originally planned.

Yeesh... this is the FP "let casuals and pugs play against pro teams" idiocy all over again. We warned that was a dumb idea, and it was... and then folks warned that Solaris would never work as proposed, and it's failing already.
Give it a week or so, and the Solaris queue will be as dead as the FP queue.
