Went to equip it on one of mechs and it's showing amount 0, I'd have to buy it for MC first in order to equip it.
Anybody else experianced the same?

The response is that the bolt-on "is mech specific", so good luck to anyone who's won one, not only do they not tell you which mech it is, there's no guarantee you even own the mech in the first place!
And for anyone who's considering dumping MC on bolt-ons, be prepared, they may be mech specific as well...

He's referring to getting a bolt on, but that bolt on doesn't exists for mechs that already have bolt ons available and has to pay MC to get it.

Check these mechs for your bolt-on if you have them:
Atlas
Banshee
Rifleman
Centurion
Griffin
Firestarter
Urbanmech
Mad Dog
Kodiak
Not sure if any others fit bolt-ons, but these are the ones I found do.
Edit: I guess I should also add my mechs that didn't support bolt-ons when I looked to help narrow down your search:
Battlemaster
Fafnir
King Crab
Nightstar
Victor
Archer
Cataphract
Catapult
Jagermech
Marauder
Roughneck
Warhammer
Blackjack
Bushwacker
Hellspawn
Hunchback (checked both the G and SP)
Shadowhawk
Uziel
Wolverine
Javelin
Jenner
Locust
Osiris
Raven
Piranha
Mist Lynx
Kit Fox
Arctic Wolf
Huntsman
Ice Ferret
Nova
Stormcrow
Hellbringer
Linebacker
Summoner
Sun Spider
Gargoyle

With a long running game that encourages the mass purchase and hording of mechs, then having such a limited number ready to take bolt ons and not being able to tell which mech it is for... well whoever supposedly does QA for PGI updates should be reconsidering their process for testing the user experience.

Well, if you didn't own any of the mechs that accept bolt-ons the Solaris 7 Hero Pack would be an excellent value. I agree with the annoyance of not having a section to see what bolt-ons you own though.
