Done Away With Launcher?

So, no more launcher now? or just a new launcher to replace my old one?(yes ive been away for a while)

The stand-alone launcher/patcher has been replaced by the "Portal" (basically the same thing, but different enough to be its own download). You're probably better off using Steam.
