I've been away some time from the game, just thought i'd have a look at the store and game again since battletech is less than a week away, i notice no Highlander, one of my fave mechs in the books and TT game. Any plans of bringing it or bringing it back?

guess i'm in the minority and don't matter cause i've not been a regular player in a long time..i dont know why they'd have to take a mech out anyway, oh well..looking at the store i don't see much there i would want to spend cash on now..maybe archer, warhammer..no shadowhawk...such a shame.....but piranha over highlander?...

I guess you didn't read the other post... his trolling was a success. It's there still, it's an assault mech.

I wasn't at all serious. The Highlanders are not for sale in real money store, but can be bought for cbills in game.

If you came back to play Solaris, only specific mech variants are usable in each division.

They introduced a new sorting feature in the store that separates mechs by Solaris Division. You might be only seeing mechs for a specific division.

i guess everyones pulling my leg then cause this sorting feature doesnt exist either haha..nice one..here's me actually looking and looking to get it up there..long list of mechs and packages but no highlander

The Highlander is available in game for C-Bills.

If you want to buy it through the website, for real money, you have to look in the "Gift Store" section, under "'Mech Bundles". I believe you can "gift" it to yourself this way, should you not wish to grind C-Bills...

Okay, OP you mean the STORE at the top, on the Website itself and not in the actual game...The Highlanders came out long before PGI introduced the website Store, which the STORE went live with the 1st Clan Wave. The Highlanders are purchaseable ingame, most with simply C-Bills, a Hero and (C) Champion version for MC, or all for MC.. Or a Bundle of Highlanders for MC in the Bundle section of the in-game Store.

Edit - Website Store, Gift, Mech Bundles, scroll down to the bottom for Assaults, for RL Cash.

yeah i was just about to ask about that giftstore thing, buying as a gift for myself sounds funny..but if its in game for cbills...ok that seems better..thanks for all the info..sorry for sounding so dumb

As mentioned, most are available for C-Bills except for Heavy Metal and the Champion version of the CHAMPION 'MECH: HGN-733C(C). There is a plain version of the 733c, it simply does not provide a XP earnings.
