Give Me A Reason To Buy The Solaris Heroes

Atlas - It's tankier than my Atlas S (L), but lacking hardpoints. I have a D as well
Griffin - Sword and board MRM 50 + lasers, sure. I have a 2N, 3N and 5M(L) that can do it too.
Rifleman - 5 energy + 3 ballistic? I have a legend killer
Urbie with only arm mounted weapons and is worse than the R60L..... D:
Mad Dog - I somehow don't own a mad dog, and omnipods...
Firestarter - I have an ember and it's been crap for 18+ months. If you invert crap, it's still crap
Banshee - I can't figure out a build that works here. Heavy Gauss + 2xHPPC? 2 LBX10 + LL's? Seems weak on firepower for 95 tons for a chassis that is the size of a barn.
I really like the idea of 7 heroes for $30, but I just can't get over how most of these mechs just don't work or are flat out worse than a c-bill variant. Help me see a way here...

Mad Dog hero alone is worth it for that CT energy hardpoints, and Banshee has jumpjets.

Mad Dog has 2 energy hardpoints in the CT
Banshee has jumpjets

and if you were thinking of buying them to farm c-bills - will they really do enough damage _consistently_ to be worth buying?
Honestly they should have sold a potato farming LRM boating hero pack - that would be a winner!

I missed the turbocharged urbie note, 121 kph urbie (speedtweaked) with jj's may be a useful thing in fw...
Mad Dog is the biggest selling point of the whole pack, because it has the best CT of all MD's and omnipods fix everything else.
Class I JJ's are absolutely awful and need massive buffs. Just ask my executioners. No use on a Banshee.

Here is something to consider. If you're planning to use the Firestarter stock, well, you just cannot. Flamers will be banned from Solaris.

A reason to buy them is flavor and to earn credits/xp at a faster rate than standard mechs, and to support the game of course.

I was already feeling some serious remorse for pre-ordering this. You just convinced me to cancel.
