The new mechlab view isn't too bad looking for smaller mechs, but for the larger ones there is a greater fish-eye look to the view and sometimes they are off the edges of the window. It's into the realm of silly with the annihilator.
There could be a natural fix or two for this but first I wanted to see if I missed a control somehow. Is there a way to zoom the view as opposed to just pivoting? Mouse wheel didn't work, but wanted to be sure.

I was thinking the same thing. Anyone know if the FOV setting affect the mechlab?

i suspect its because of the FOV settings aswell.
Also yeah, I would like a zoom function to really get all the little details about my mechs.

I think I can confirm the FOV setting doesn't do anything in the mechlab. Flipped from 60 to 120 and didn't see a noticeable difference.
