Don't know how it happened but Nice Shot.

Kroglan is in a Night Gyr with Dual Clan Guass I assume. I am in my Oxide. With full alloted armor plus structure tree.

Head Shot at 348 meters.

I have 39 Head Armor.... Someone please explain the PGI logic of that to me.

3 versions....1 is real time.... 2 is the head shot... 3 is him firing at me.

Nope and even if I did it would have been depleted first if I remember the order right.

the only thing i can think of is that he got a crit in the same instance of damage that got through your head armor, though i don't know if that's actually possible.

I think they nerfed gauss a while back so it only does single crits and only at 50% dmg. RNGesus blessed the OP

The GR wasnt the only thing to hit you. During that brief moment your mech was hit with laser fire, MPL. Not sure when the ERML hit you, if prior to that or also during that timeframe but you were definitely hit by MPL. And regardless of where you think it hit you, there is the HSR and the paper doll updates.

Well first of all, a Jenner with maxed out Survival tree only got 22 armor on the head + 21 structure. So that armor only absorbs one Gauss round while the second round will deal enough to hit structure and could definitely roll a crit on the structure for enough damage to take you out.

Funny thing about crits is that a weapon will deal full crit-damage even if only a measly 0.1 damage of that 15 damage reaches your structure after taking out your armor.

A gauss crit can KO you. Barely. But it can happen. Statistically, though, it is unlikely to happen if you have a fully armored head.

I have 18 Head Armor and 21 Structure on my Oxide..... So even 1 gauss shot will not get through my armor. yeah i just thought this was funny is all.

There was a fafnir which had the lasers. I did see the doll light up but it looked like it was CT and RT for the lasers. But its possible that he grazed the head to.

Not anymore

As Ghogiel said, half CritDam and only ever 1 Crit (at the typical 42%)

So, best case is 1 Crit at 1.125 bonus damage, or under 32 total damage

Maybe the MPLs hit the face, to bring it below a threshold where 2 Crits are possible (sub 15 armor, for both Gauss to hit structure)
Or, TCs are Working as Intended™ to provide double and triple Crits to Gauss (previously stated that they should not be doing that)
