so for the past week I have been trying to download the new solaris update to no avail. I kept getting a pop up saying to update the portal, tried to do that 4 times but nothing happened aw well it still worked without that, so I would try to go to the patch screen and start the update. after over 6 hours of waiting multiple times the patch always stopped hallway through installation and refused to work. ran the fix program several times to try and get some results after the fix program ran I would run the patcher with the same results. now after a power surge during a fresh attempt at a full reinstall I find that my program files for the game under the program filesx86 folder are gone. the portal is in the system but because there are no folders or anything under the program folders area I keep getting the error that the source doesn't exist and trying to download from the website I keep getting the error "mwo portal already exists." and whenever I go to the control panel to uninstall mwo it is telling me the installer folder doesn't exist and it wont uninstall. I am at a loss and already have a ticket with support but I am wondering If there are any tech savvy users here in the forums that can help as well because at this point I just lost over $300 of in game purchases and I lost the solaris mechs I was extremely excited to play as well as the free goodies from events, and can essentially never play mwo again on this computer. (I would do a backup but stupid me I never made a backup file for this computer **** me right?)

will that reset my main account progress? I dunno at this point I'm ready to try anything.

I agree with Bandito - The PGI launcher for MWO seems terrible. Always people saying it's screwed them over.

Worst Steam ever does is patch 20 minutes late.

allright I got the steam version downloading see if that helps any, crossing fingers cause at this point I'm so ******* angry both at my computer and myself I'm ready to ******* put my computer through a wall.
