Oh well, just had to say it. One Hellfire gets 1 ballistic slot, the Hero gets 2 ballistic slots. Then the prime Hellfire gets 7 energy and 2 missile and the first alt gets 6 energy and 2 missile, etc., etc. It's like your choice is #1 or something less?

Not important, it just set off my Mechlab-o-meter.

Cause by lore Hellfire variants are very identical. http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Hellfire

Also by lore it is designed to be a laser platform.

Finally, PGI has limitations in their imagination department, in regards to making actually interesting custom variants. They could have made a lot of money if they put a ballistic boat in the reinforcement pack.
