Does anyone know how to Increase your Pilot Skill Rating ?
One Match it's Negative, the Next it's Neutral and then out of the blue, it's Positive. What Gives??

Long story short...

Its determined by 2 things. Did you win/lose/tie and what was your match score.

Conditions to go up on a win is easy. On a loss you need a score of something over 300, maybe 400? Exact numbers escape me at the moment.

On a win the score required is fairly easy to get.

Exactly how much it goes up decreases with every match however. So jumps might be really big when you win 7 out of only 10 matches. But jumps are small when its 700 out of 1,000 matches. The idea is you'll settle into where you belong with time and will have "fun" playing against your own skill level.

Edit: on my phone so excuse autocorrect nonsense.

On Win:
Did you do well? Up.
Did you do poor-mediocre? Stays even.

On Loss:
Did you do exceptionally well? Up.
Did you do decently? Stays even.
Were you part of the dead weight on your team? Down.

I don't remember the exact MS values needed for each threshold, but they're not particularly high. I think 250MS is the cutoff between up/even on a win and even/down on a loss.

And ignore anything about it actually placing you where you ought to be by your skill. The way PSR functions makes it an exp bar, everyone will get to T1 eventually.

It's 80+ for up on a win, and 250+ for not going down on a loss.
