Some players I talk to seem to think wild and crazy brawls where both teams are going at it in a 24-player entangled mayhem is lots of fun, win or lose.

That said, which maps are most conducive to producing such brawls in the solo queue?

With the understanding that everyone's experience varies, I find Polar Highlands Domination (regardless of LRMs), Crimson Strait Domination, Mining Collective (any mode), and often the citadel in River City (any mode), to be the most likely brawls in QuickPlay. Canyons can sometimes have little mini-brawls on the ramps or whatever but there's usually a sniping portion in early-game. Same with Caustic and Grim Plexus.

Hard to say. Most of the good, memorable matches I've played (win or lose) include all elements of play: Snipe/trade, mid-range skirmish, and finish with a zesty brawl.

It can happen on any map, I think, but if I had to pick one, I'd say Viridian Bog. All the canopy, ground clutter, and sharp vertical differential breaks up long firing lanes and make sniping difficult. In that environment, it's relatively easy for brawlers to close sooner in the match without taking as much withering ranged fire.

Seems to happen mostly on River city in the water between upper city and airport for me.
