I notice that the clan bap has no ecm counter capabillity, as opposed to it's IS' counterpart. Is there a reason for this ?

Hmm, Smurphy does not say that CAP counters ECM, so it must be true. Oh well, CAP is lighter than BAP anyway, so balance achieved?

Was it changed?
Last time i used streaks, the cap countered ecm.

I was having the same idea, not sure though. Maybe an omission in the mechlab explanatory?

i usually use light tag with clan streaks. i think id rather use that than cap/lap. though i usually use both, if you are going to be dependent on locks get them as quickly as possible. works a lot better than moar tubes or moar ammo ever will.

It has, I run both C-BAP and C-LAP in my clan mechs with Streaks and Lurms, all counter ECM perfectly well, you must have ran into 2 mechs with ECM or into some jamming field.
