Do we need a PTS for a 5/10 degree yaw nerf too?

Given the 'nerf' to the MCII was going to do nothing...

Same as prior efforts to HBKIICA and the NTG... Such things do nothing.

Well, they do make the mechs less fun to play.. so I guess that is something.

NTG was nerfed pretty hard agility wise though, enough to make them almost extinct.

Couldn't believe they cancelled such a soft "nerf" due to all the tears. The lasers I understand, that was a fairly major step. But a small yaw reduction?

Maybe the Anni and Atlas pilots needed to whinge a bit more loudly, so that their nerfs got canned as well.

It's the optics of nerfing the MCII at exactly the same time the Blood Asp (which can run similar build) is released

I have a strong feeling after lackluster a week or two PTS, PGI will just push the nerfs anyway.

...just like they did on Skill Tree.

Basically PGI was making Clan lasers into what lasers in Battletech game. If you understand that.

Think about large lasers and PPC in HBS Battletech game. Are you using those weapons or not? :P

That said, it was massive nerfs using massive ghost heat limit on Clan lasers.

Thank you PGI, for allowing my OP Deathstrike to go unmolested. I'll keep using it to my heart's content.

HLL ghost heat for firing more than 1.
HML ghost heat for firing more than 3.
All other Clan medium lasers ghost heat for firing more than 4.

The MCII variants were getting 5° and 10° reductions to their torso twist.

Thank you.

Wow. That would have wrecked a lot of my builds.

That it did. I still use mine but I have to adjust certain things to keep effective still. Those nerfs were well uncalled for.

Ah come on. I still see plenty of them and use mine, they are good - but like some mechs, it takes a good player to use them. They are all over the place in Comp as well as they are still the best Dakka Hvy in the game. It's just the Gauss/Peeps that nuked that (and the KDK3).

Why unnerf the yaw though? It's puzzling.

I guess enough people cancelled their pre-orders? PGI doesn't know how to compromise, only knows how to full swing.
