Is the Wolf Phoenix worth buying? I am trying to expand my collection of IS Assaults. I saw one of these in a game it looked good but what are your thoughts on it?

From my current experiance with the 9S I would say the Nightstar generally speaking is not worth it.
Maybe with a dual mrm 40 build you could do something on the wolf phoenix due to the mrms having decent range and being more centerline mounted as well as above the cockpit.

Sleipnir was considered one of the better ballistic IS assault mechs for a while.

Hi Bin,
I have the WF, and a number of other Nightstars chassis. I like the -9P, and the others are just ok. I can make them work in qp but if I were trying to build a fp drop deck I would pick something else. That said, I don't regret my purchase.
As Mad Dog Morgan said, the Sleipnir is a better assault mech.
Good hunting,
Conky

Its a hero mech .
Does not matter if it sucks or not , its job is to make you extra cbills so you can pay for that cheesy meta mech of your dreams .
