I think there could be a bonus for using stock mechs similarly to using Omni mechs with the correct pods. I think that currently there is a massive performance increase with limited penalties for min/maxing and it overshadows the stock mech. The bonus could be in the form of reduced repair cost or reliability. In any event I’d rather see a bonus for stock mech versus a penalty for min/maxed conversions.

I’d love to see other thoughts on this.
