@ OP: Actually it is the other way round.
Mechs in MWO are far too large in terms of scaling.
An Atlas should be one of the largest Mechs around with ~18m including its antennas, Banshee is 15m tall, a Commando 9m, that would be the 3rd to 6th floor if you have a realy ground level building with 3m each floor and most modern skyscrapers have 4m base floor and 2.5m each floor with interfloors.

to me it is very immersion killing. I mean, this is NOT Battletech / Mechwarrior.

You think the map kills immersion? You obviously didn't see THIS ABOMINATION

Look. It's not my fave map either but the map chooses YOU!
Now you are as bad as the people that dc from polar because they don't like that map.
It's a fight. And only staged fights do you have a choice.
And as another poster stated arena battles spilling into the streets.
You'll never know how it ends until you are there.

I mean.. the map really just needs a reshuffle to make it so that some movement lanes are better established, but as you see from everyone else, what you are spitting is bull crap. There are MANY things that leave the spirit of battletech from this game, the City map is not one of them.
