I never really see Stalkers getting shot in the arms to be honest.

Well i hvt run a stalker sinse the clan release but I dont think that people particularly aimed for its arms. They just got shot off during the facetime occasionally. Its now got similar amrour in its arms as a nova cat at 15 tons lighter and its got the marjoity of its weapons in the arms. If there is some logic it escapes me, its just looks like one of those odd changes that somehow PGI was convinced into making.

It reminded me how stupid the grind is in this game.

Seriously, even with double XP it is taking me 20-30 matches to grind though 91 points JUST to get my mechs competitive. I bought the entire Blood Asp line up, that is 6 mechs or like 300+ fricken matches worth of normal XP (Not to mention 25.2 million C-bills) to skill them up. And no 20% less heat generation or 15% greater range or 10-20% greater armor or 20% greater agility, etc is NOT optional when you are talking your ability to compete in a match. Hell half my builds don't work without the heat reduction and lets not forget 13 points invested just to get ECM to work right.

I guess for the non-collector at there, the grind might seem ok but if your like me and generally buying at least the standard pack and hero plus an occasional C-bill variant every month, the grind is very real.

Well since it is an omni and you can change out the vast majority of components to make it whatever you want, I am not sure how you get the half of them are trash?

Ok the Prime has a extra CT Missile hardpoint which I have combined with the Rancor side torso to give it a respectable 3 x SRM6 splat among other things and you have two chassis that offer ECM which is of dubious use on a mech the size of a Blood Asp, especially if you have them configured like I do to be more of a mid to short range brawler, but other than that no different between all 6 of them so it would seem it would more likely be all of them or none of them being trash.

The ECM in the CT can't be switched out, and all the variants without ECM (all but 2) are worse than the MCII. With ECM, it's about on par.

The is regardless of what you choose for the other omnipods.

....never to buy another mech unless it is the META-CARRY-HARDER of the week. Even then, it will be nerfed eventually. So, why bother?

A while ago I made a statement that I would buy a Solaris pack if they addressed 8v8 in the next town hall. Well, it was (that infamous one everyone still talks about), so I kept my part of the agreement. Whether I believe what was given as an excuse why they never pursued it is for another discussion, on a different forum.

So, I decide that, because of divisions, that the DAO Breaker might do well...in its division. So, I decide to take it our to level it. Yeah...

Yep, since I'm expected to CARRY HARDER all the time, won't be buying anything more. To everyone else thinking of buying anything, eventually you'll be T1 also, and expected to CARRY HARDER. So I would keep that in mind before you decide to spend any money until you know the mech you are buying is going to be the new meta.

And, to those of you that are going to chime in with your tired old "the common denominator is you"......

4 KMDD. Had to work my arse off to facilitate that win. Can't do that all the time unless it is a CARRY HARDER mech. And guess what, NO LRMs!

So, 8v8 solo QP, PGI? I'm addressing it again, but not promising to buy anything.

The only way Russ can address your question is if he's at least as DRUNK as he was the last time. At least then he will be able to say "Wut? I don't recall saying that!".

Yeah...that was probably the most embarrassing thing I've ever seen the Head of a company ever do. Hopefully he grows up a bit and doesn't do a repeat.
