Method To Increase Chance Of Rarely Chosen Maps

This is more of an algorithm introduction instead of a feature.

1) Assess the frequency of maps played in quickplay during a season.
2) Add a bonus multiplier to maps which are rarely played.
3) Add a reduction multiplier to maps which are commonly played.
4) Does not apply to newly introduced maps for the season. Those get thrown into the weighting pile next season.
5) Multipliers can alternatively be dynamic if the servers are able to handle real time map play data.

Example:
So for example Terra Therma and Polar Highlands which are literally polar opposites in their frequency played.
  • Terra Therma being the least played map for season 22 gets an innate multiplier of 1.5 for season 23
  • Polar Highlands being the most played map for season 22 gets an innate multiplier of 0.5 for season 23
You will need far less votes for Terra Therma to get the majority real votes and vice versa for Polar Highlands. It is such a simple system to ensure that rarely played maps having a fighting chance to be chosen.

Vote multiplier I like, but let's not go into a penalty for voting just yet.

Interesting idea, but I wonder if PGI would implement it.
