It's just 10 seconds or something after a single crash, that isn't too punishing. If you crash often enough to have higher wait times you should rather try to find out why you are crashing in the first place.

Let's just say that repercussions in Group Play would matter (at least for me).

And I've discovered that lack of RAM could trigger the crash.

Op, the fact that you get a penalty after your client crashes is just an unfortunate, annoying, silly, and absurd side effect of why the penalty was implemented in the first place..

It was done to prevent people from gaming and farming the system and to prevent people from going "oh no, I don't like this map, or I don't like the opposing team, so I'm just gonna disco out for the gazillionth time in a row"..

It was rampant a while back, and they implemented the penalty system..

So yeah.. it's annoying, but it's there for a reason..
