Not sure if this is a well known bug, but it can be a bit irritating if you're running a limited amount of gauss ammo.

Basically, if you charge your gauss, and then hold E for a quick-chat/spot/whathaveyou, the gauss stays either charged (or mid charged), it will stay this way indefinitely until you release the E key/Quick-chat key or whatever it is called. Kind of annoying sometimes because I like to precharge a lot of my shots, multitasking and what not.

Wish I had a video to provide it, but folks are more than welcome to test this to confirm.

Its well known and seen 2 youtube videos in the past few months where person talks about doing exactly what you describe.
But some players use it on purpose for instant shots which some other players see as an exploit.

I use it from time to time, esp with my HGausses, very helpful, however, downside is that you can't turn your cockpit, but still can turn on your legs. I almost though it was like intended "feature", because it's so obvious...
