I am planning to buy it in steam but not for this month, so I am asking if it will stay there. the performance packs are gone and was replaced by Solaris 7 Pack

not sure if it is time bound before reverting back to performance packs or does it completely replaces those.

buying is steam is way much cheaper if converted to local currency

They can swap it out any time so all I can recommend is to get it at the soonest.

There were 8 packs in the store formerly.

These were the two light, two medium, two heavy, and two assaults.
Each featured an [S] variant of MWO's "Champion" mechs, one per side (one IS one Clan) per pack.

These were the ones I acquired from one of the assault packs:

Occasionally but rarely you'll see these in the Solaris games. Their colors are different, sure.

Pretty sure they meant they (Steam Performance Packs) were never in PGI's web store (which they weren't), but the Solaris 7 Hero 'mechs were (which they are).
