Maybe it's because i play lots of these mechs often, but it is also getting me into mechs or will get me in ones i have not played in a long time. The bonus MC and C-bills is pretty sweet too.

My only regret is there is only one level of reward aka 500 damage. I wouldn't have minded seeing a 2k Damage bonus for extra C-bills.. Besides one decent match and your onto the next mech!


Best part is revisiting so many mechs i have not had a chance to mess around with the new tech.. I think i've spent more time on some mechs in the mech lab than i did playing to get 500 damage.. (both sides were fun and engaging)



One downside.. My poor clan account is getting no rewards.. I'd love to see a Clan event just like this after the IS is over

i like events that dig up legacy mechs that ive forgotten about. some of them are actually rather enjoyable to revisit. like i had fun with the dragon, quickdraw, and awesome. much better that events where you have to take your best metabot to complete in a timely manor.

heh, i used my c-bills i earned from the light-heavy classes to buy an awesome 8Q, what a fun mech! I'll defiantly be skilling it up after this event wraps up.


was also first time playing the rifleman i bought last winter or maybe longer.. they had a c-bill sale on them and i grabbed one. I hadn't even added the upgrades to it. Boy that was a fun one as well, simply 5 UAC5's and 4ERML's, but surprisingly fun and powerful little 60 tonner. No wonder people stopped using the 2UAC5 dragon though i still drop in that on occasion.

thats like every qp match ever, nothing to do with event.

Maybe PGI is right about lowering Clan alpha and gauss vomit. Could be why I've found this event fun.

I play with a joystick and throttle , Im having fun no matter what damage I do and regardless of how miserable you are

Damage doesn't equate to playing well. Efficient kills equates to playing well.
