How many patches back are you still that you think the TBR still needs a significant agility nerf worked into its already abysmal agility stats?

Its not just the TBR, PGI is insanely slow to react to shifts in the meta as things get released as has been shown for ages but the STK has a low engine cap and very few quirks and the MAL has few quirks, especially compared to the ANH.

Are you still working with data from Resistance 1 and 2 era? Is there a reason so many mechs are left in the dust as new and better ones get introduced?

What is holding back the buffs to other mechs, look how long it took to get the SDR some armor quirks, well after the urbie got them.

Can the blackjack have its former quirks back? Can it have armor instead of structure? Is it too powerful with its 45 tons of nothing while the ASN came out of the box with armor quirks?

Can ALL the Atlases have armor instead of structure now?

Can all the NSR have armor too?

Can the TDR have its quirks back from before the skill tree stripped it?

Can the LCT 1V have its pre skill tree quirks back?

Why did it take so long to get the Thanatos armor quirks but the JM6 and RFL have next to nothing?

Can the SHD have some decent armor quirks now? Can the Griffin? Since everyone is playing BSW it would be nice to see that kind of love spread around.

Why is there this huge gap between newer mechs and mechs that used to be decent but now aren't?

Can the JR7 and the FS9 have more quirks now?

The arm armor swap on the JR7 did very little and on the JM6 made the arms too vulnerable. People are blowing my arms off in one shot even with full survival tree.

Can the NTG have an agility boost so it isn't such a slug?

I get that there are 500+ mechs and you can't get to all of them in every patch, but the balance team is either using really old data or they just don't have enough experience with these mechs beyond what used to be to keep up with how bad they've gotten.

I could make this post bottom out with questions about why some mechs have tiny stucture buffs instead of a decent armor buffs. Can we just do away with structure buffs on the vast majority of the mechs and make them armor buffs? Can we have slightly lower the armor buffs on the ASN 21 instead of turning it all into structure?

What justifies the stagnation? I get that you're a small team but you are big enough to pay for and make a game from scratch at the same time as running MWO.

My guess, so far, has been "never".

I think the other thing to consider is $$$. PGI is less pay to win than my F2P games, but it does benefit them to give you reasons to purchase newer mechs vs. buying the old ones for c-bills. I'm not passing judgement on whether or not this is a good thing, just saying it makes some sense from a business perspective.

Just because new mechs come out doesn't that make your older mechs useless. It makes them less current meta but they still can shoot at other mechs. I'd love to go back to pre-re-scale Jenners but nope. It's a light mech and pgi clearly has an agenda against lights being good, oh it might not be nerfed at pre-order but once it comes out for c-bills and anyone can get it wham goes a nerf directly or indirectly.

My Catapults all see regular use and my K2 is about to hit 700,000 mech xp on it. For only having 2B and 4E hard points it's not the most meta mech but those locations on it are good enough that it still does decent damage when I want to go big ac. My other Cats range from 400,000 xp to a mere 90,000 on my Jester.

We really can't see their numbers and what their player activity and revenue objectives are. Sometimes devs will do strange things that can upset the vocal forum posters but make the silent majority open up their wallets. Even if you do everything to please your vocal players you can still end up running your business into the ground. It's a tricky position to be in.

Yes please…. make the Night Gyr great again! This thing is sluggish like a Dire Wolf....

And don't forget the Battlemasters…. some of them have a torso-yaw of 60°...

And some Black Nights have structure quirks while other variants have armor quirks. It's time to bring them in line with armor quirks for all variants.

You can't purge old data, unless you purge Paul completely from balance team. ;)

Sure did sell a lot of Deathstrikes.

Now they have to implement Ghost Heat 3.0 to reign in their new meta god.

Why did Paul use the Direwolf as the baseline for agility and mobility instead of something like a 350 engine Atlas. Something that wasn't God tier but also wasn't complete garbage like it is now.

Why can't the locust stutter step? Why can't my lights be small and my light mediums be small?

No problems here, move along.

Sizes are perfect, right?

Lets only give a couple of the Atlases armor quirks but give the ANH HUGE armor quirks on every chassis at launch.
