My 6 AC2 Annihilator is a monster at long range, I gotta imagine a 4 AC2 Jager is probably decent. Though one strength of my ANH is that it can take a hell of a beating, so I can just trade fire with anything at that range and win, while the Jager cannot.

Ac20, snub-ppc, 2x srm6+art Cataphract 2x....it uses all 3 weapon types (usually a no-no) and is a knuckle-dragger with bad hit boxes....plus it isn’t all that fast. Does it work surprising well (due to its ridiculous quirks) with this loadout? Yes...yes it does.

Just have to throw one of my stupid builds out there for this: Party Gragles.

Gargoyle with 1 ER large, 1 LPL, 1ERM, 1MPL, 1 ERSL, and 1 SPL. Also painted in horrible colors.
It brings the lightshow.

And the sad thing is, I have had 1k damage matches in it at tier 1.

yea but you have 4 of them and the jam time is very short. of course more than 4 and you start having heat problems, then lb2/ac2. ive had very good luck with uac2s.

I wish I had recorded that match; you would think a Locust, Assassin, Kit-fox, Urbie and Marauder IIC might be able to hit a barn door amongst themselves. You'd think wrong.

Even group queue grew spuds that evening, which my Awesome cut and cooked into delicious salty fries.

Well I just had a friend drop a build off that was a little crazy, or really crazy as in done before but meh a long long long time ago. The build was Jager S with 4 AC2s ... oddly enough with some pug shielding it did really well.

So this brought me here during my boredom to ask for your weird outlandish maybe use to be crap builds that oddly enough work. Please share if you want screen shots of the build and if you want the skill tree as well ... I am currently looking at mechs for during these recent challenges if you feel like sharing.

AC2s are vastly improved since they were buffed. They're no longer trash, but you really ought to pair them with something to get the most out of them. I mean, unless you're running 8 of them, or something...

Yes, that's 8 UAC2s... Juju runs this on his Ultraviolet and it's actually not bad.

That said, UAC2s and UAC5s are barely worth double-tapping, especially if you are running the clan versions, so bear that in mind. With opportunity shots, obviously double-tapping is ok, but in a straight up fight just don't bother double-tapping at all, it's not worth it.

One of the fun things about running a 4xac2 build is that you can click madly on the fire button!

Shadow Cat with 6HMG, 2SRM6, 1HLL and a lot of armor nodes works a LOT better than you'd think.

Spider 5V with 1ERLLas and jull JJ is stupid fun, and kinda works.

Panther with 4LPPCs is also stupid fun, but isn't good for much more than distraction.
