"
Timber Wolf:
The Timber Wolf quirks have been reworked to remove all previously assigned Negative Quirks.
Some have been rolled into the baseline stats of the 'Mech.
Counterbalancing quirks have been provided to a number of other torso locations. "

How are you going to say you're taking away the negative quirks (yay!) Then say you rolled them back into the stats of the mech (aww) ... come on PGI..

what they probably mean is the TBR-A LT Negative Quirks(-5%Accl/Decell)
may be rolled into the Mechs Stats, but all other OmniPods will get +%Accl/Decell, & Ect.

but they also said they were re-balancing it, so it may get a buff as well,
they did say the TBR could be operating at +10%Agility(Efficiency)

And that makes as much sence as getting a %10 raise and a 10% tax... just remove them all togeather and buff as needed. They are foing unnecessary work for a simple adjustment.

I believe its a buff to the old timby, just the way PGI, worded it, messed it up.

Timber Wolf Design notes: As the only 'Mech previously assigned negative quirks, we have decided to roll a number of these values into the baseline stats of the 'Mech and provide counter balancing positive quirks similar to other Clan 'Omnimechs rather then negative quirks. Some of the older quirks that we no longer utilize such as reverse speed, have been phased out from this pass. The net results will see the Timber Wolf operating at about 5-10% extra efficiency through a number of attributes that have been either phased out or reduced depending on their assignments.

I guess I should have said the "Net effect will see it gain something of a 5-10% buff across various attributes over it's current in-game settings."

Not all negative quirks where rolled into the baseline stats. Some such as the reductions to reverse speed, and some of the excel /decel negative effects where phased out entirely and where not rolled into the baseline attributes. And there are oppertunities for larger final value benefits over what it had before depending on omnipod selection. Which is why we typically can't speak in absolutes when it comes to Omnimechs notes since the total implications of the changes wildly vary from build to build depending on how you have outfitted your 'Mech.

If you utilized the pods with negative quirks, you can still probably expect a minor increase across various stats compared to it's current performance, If you don't, you will probably see a bigger boost compared to where it is now.

That was added after reddit and the other post on the forums was made. So it is just a wait and see. Screenshot the stats on my timbers which have all the torso twist, and radius skills, and without as well as a screen shot of a unskilled Marauder, and a Marauder with the same skills as my timberwolves.

Nope that part has always been a part of the notes it was not edited in. The edited parts since release have had to deal with the Comp queue scheduling which has been altered to Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, instead of Sunday.

Ok that makes a lot more sense, the original wording was like " We are taking two steps forward to take 1 step backwards" thank you for clarifying Chris.
