Has anyone else noticed that some mechs weapons and mech textures have been improved gradually over the year?
Why hasnt PGI mentioned this in patches? Why hasnt anyone mentioned it?
This isnt a complaint but It would be nice to know why im seeing more detailed textures without notice, but I am pleased

I'm pretty sure PGI mentions it every patch.

When they retrofit older mechs to work with newer tech weapons visuals they update the rest too?
Sometimes they fix glitches or clipping or anything on a mech model, maybe they up the textures there.
Something like that.

I noticed that some paintjobs especially on the roughneck have become a bit darker, tainted, less bright coloured, after their chassis' underwent the civil war retrofit changes.

All mechs are equal in graphic updates, its just that some are more equal than others.

The roughnek has also recieved a new exterior cockpit texture. Im talking about most textures in the game, they all look crispier and more detailed. reflections are more noticeable as well. If you put an ac20 on an atlas you can actually see down the barrel now.
