The tech imbalance really shows on Flea, compared to Piranha, if you ask me. Here are some builds I made.
FLE-19.
Build : http://mech.nav-alph.../#BLBno4_FLE-19
Probably this is the build most people will use it. You can change to light machinegun if ammo feels too low.
FLE-17.
Build 1 : http://mech.nav-alph.../#A9GeNC_FLE-17
Build 2 : http://mech.nav-alph.../#sTDvE5_FLE-17
The fact that Flea only goes 170 engine cripples the mech. The lack of critical space really hampers possible builds.
FLE-15.
Build 1 : http://mech.nav-alph.../#vDgvKE_FLE-15
Build 2 : http://mech.nav-alph.../#nZjq9B_FLE-15
Just forget about machineguns!
FLE-FA.
Build 1 (NO MASC) : http://mech.nav-alph.../#SUgzXi_FLE-FA
Build 2 (MASC) : http://mech.nav-alph.../#sylNDg_FLE-FA
Fire Ant is probably the most balanced in paper, but tonnage is not really enough for all three MASC, machineguns and decent lasers.
Maybe it is better idea to NOT equip MASC on this variant.
FLE-20.
Build : http://mech.nav-alph.../#YVVEWg_FLE-20
Even with ECM equipped, the main problem of this mech is really lack of critical space. It is actually powerful though... A bit more alpha damage than Locust hero.
ROMEO.
Build : http://mech.nav-alph...#dG2OBN_FLE-R5K
Oh my god, unlike Locust 3S, you can actually put 4 tons of ammo instead of Locust's 3 tons due to the fact that you can shave arms' armor (and you need to strip a lot of armor everywhere to put 3 tons). Can't do it on Locust because weapons are on the arms. With just a bit less DPS, this is one definitely viable little SRM boat.
I think all variants are good, both normal ones and additional paywall ones.
