Seeing complains about differences in concept art and final model regularly, PGI should maybe assign a second 3D artist for a month or so to be able to have one finished final model in advance.

Then they could just ditch the concepts and only show final mech models. Sure, those probably won't look as fancy but players would know exactly what they pay for and their concept artist would also have more time to do other stuff...

They certainly need to do something to change things up.

This is why you don't ask PGI to "fix" things. People actually expected them to not make it worse, judging by their history?

Fools.

Wouldn't shock me if they made it obscenely large out of spite.

This is not acceptable.

If you are the modeler and you have looked at the concept for a fraction of a second, you would know something is off immediately. Are they really trying to show us the finger with this?
becasue we did not like what they did the first time around and told them we want the model to be close to concept art?

They even stretched weapon meshes to make it even taller... that is just toxic.

Well.. THIS GUY has a clue...

I would hate to speculate about PGI's modelers, cose' I'm under threat of ban.. but something is to be said about all the errors, inconsistencies and re-works that have gone into almost every mech that came out after they announced MW5..

On the one hand, I'm glad PGI is kind enough to rework things.. and on the other, I'm sad that there are so many things to rework..

The first pic with the 5 minute rework shows what basically everyone expected. Devs, take note.

P.S.

I find the fact that in the second, lower picture, it shows the servers will be going down, very funny and indicative :P

You know I think you're onto something there.

Still, I got a refund for their shoddy work and I've now lost all intention of ever paying money towards this game.

You have an expectation, as you give money to a company, that they will improve over the years, even if it is slowly, instead PGI seems to be slipping backwards in terms of quality.

LOL Football has changed a lot since I last bothered to watch, wtf

Anyway, Im still playing my Blasp just as much, because next to the Stormcrow, its my favorite mech for like 20+ years. I think they made the mistake of not looking at it with fresh eyes...they could have shown it to a third party and immediately gotten the kind of feedback that would have prevented this (and the [Redacted] nature of their 'fix').

But whatevs, its PGI, frankly I was uncomfortable when the Blasp came out and it didnt have any glaring flaws other than [Redacted] shoulder pods. [Redacted]
