The trick is to kill 12 mechs. Once you do, you usually win. I haven't have this trick fail on me yet.

You can do it by yourself or with a team.

The score is 12 to 3 and the winning team has 12 kills amongst their mechs, so I'm guessing it's just a bug that didn't register the last mech as dead in the Status section.
