How damaged were you by the end of that match? Did you have to hide a bunch?

72-4%, wasn't cored anywhere, hid from streak boats throughout the match though and only attacked from the flanks when the opportunity presented itself.

To be fair, the only reasonable conclusion anyone can draw from that is the people you are running with are OP. All of us play enough games to know that your team is not randos despite the colorful array of tags. And those are all top 200 in the leaderboard. (yourself included)

Second point, I just like to point out that there are no nerf Flea thread. So no, we don't call a nerf on every single light. We just call a nerf on the PiR. (specifically the 1 too, no one call a nerf on PIR 2, 3, or even Cipher, even though reasonable people can argue that Cipher is even more damaging than the 1) It's like Trump somehow make NFL kneeling about patriotism when its just about racial inequality and police brutality.

The humor in this is that the Flea is a far superior mech to the Piranha, yet people complain about that and not the Flea.

I don't have a Flea to make an accurate comparison myself, but I think that's more up to personal opinion...?

edit: also, 12 mg vs 8 mg, that's pretty much what commoners like us look at

(and your 8 mg var carry half the ammo)

I wouldn't go that far. They're both the apex predators of the light class for sure.

Both are great knife fighters, the difference is the flea has throwing knives and better dance moves.

I'm no expert, but I think using faction warfare gameplay to prove the OP'ness of a mech is fundamentally flawed.

If we're talking PIR-1 that is likely because you ran out of ammo lol.

I've only played the 2 or 3 a handful of times, but they seem like a pretty good foil to the flea. Have you tried those?

After some matches i think the Piranha and at least the masc-enabled Fleas are both about equally good, and more about personal preference.

The Piranha has more firepower while the Flea has more survivability with it's masc.
So on average in my experience the Flea lives longer than a Piranha to be able to catch up on it's damage at the end of the match.

The non-masc Fleas however leave something to be desired. They have less firepower than the Piranha but nothing to compensate.

Stutter stepping etc is life for both mechs, Flea just gets to dance at the same time.
