There is. :P

Back then when IIC was released and I had games where there are 10 MAD IIC on each team and I was the only non-assault mech in my team. Too many times.

That said, unlike IIC I really don't think IS MAD II will be actually good though. Then again, my mech, Hollander is something else in terms of badness.

well the IS MAD II is 100 tons with a 400 engine cap, jj's and no hand actuators. if it gets similar hitboxes to the 75 ton marauder then it would be a damn good mech.

I would shell out money for an IS MAD II in a heartbeat but I don't think we will get it because we have 4 IS 100 tonners already...

I'd buy anyone of those mechs as a, "I'm proud of you PGI for sticking to your guns" deal, but I want to wait a while to see if Russ's words from the lawsuit are full of air or the real deal. Somehow, I feel that the words either mean PGI can keep the MWO designs but can't use the new ones, or that PGI can keep the MWO designs but can use the new ones. Given how vague his words are, I don't know which is true.

JJs are not overly interesting for a 100t Mech imo and hitboxes... well, remember the Nightstar: in canon it is an extremely sleek Mech with an elongated torso and minimal frontal profile. But PGI turned it into a stubby Mech and bloated the vents massively. The Marauder II with all the stuff on its shoulders (vents, wings) might get a similarly bad treatment.

I like Marauders very much but the Marauder II does not do anything for me, and I am not sure about its potential in game. There are other members of the Marauder family I'd like to see...

Indeed. Those descendants of the Marauder could be very good in game.

I support the Dragon Fire and Maelstrom.
Even though the Maelstrom would need some pretty heavy redesign from Alex. But, I support that as well.

Essentially accurate.

Especially with Artemis.

I assume the announcement is late because they're putting together a "Revenant" pack.
Stinger, Wasp, Crusader, ___. Probably a 4-pack, not sure what the other would be.

Imp or Flashman.

What about for an assault, Goliath, Ostol, Shogun, or Hatamoto-Chi?

The Goliath is a quad mech, so the chances of seeing that are nill (not that I wouldn't like to see quads make it in the game). I would be down for the Charger/Hatamoto combo pack after having read the thread about it. Shogun could be okay, depending on PGI's take on how low the arms sit, seems to have high/top mounted torso mounts so it's workable.

And the Ostsol?

As long as PGI sticks to the more "modern" looking renditions of the Ostsol, it's weapon placements would be solid. There's a RL variant that would give it an option that the Rifleman wouldn't have available to it.
