Hey there. While sitting here and wait the Patcher to finish, me got a new Idea:
We all know the Bowling Time and why it gets deleted. But what about getting in it in the Game again as Death from Above with the HBS Flair of Stability Damage? Which means:
a: if a light mech jump on the upper Torso/ Head of a enemy light Mech, it does a Stability Check (35t with inertial force(kph and/or downforce g´s of jump against a to define Number of Stability per Chassis) against 35t at recieving end) and bowls it like the old Rules.
b: if a light mech jump on the upper Torso/Head of a enemy medium Mech the Check works again and compare the inertial forces (kph and/or downforce g´s of jump against a to define Number of Stability per Chassis) like the old bowl check, and the light lays on his six or both, but at least that medium mech should have a 3-5 sec long shaking of reticle
c: if a medium Mech jumps on the upper Torso/Head of a light Mech, the check works and give a small Bonus on the medium mech damage and Stability DMG for the greater miss chance and greater Mass of the medium Mech
d: what about assault Highlander Burial at least. And Head Hitzone for DFA´s to work or not can at least be a Hitzone that can´t hit otherways expect that DFA to prevent abuse of that Mechanic.

Were you high when you wrote that?
I got what you're talking about, but you really didn't explain it well, and it's clear you didn't think it through very much either.
PGI, here you go...
1. Death From Above is when a mech can stomp on another mech either by using jumpjets or falling from a height.
2. Upon passing a certain downward velocity, once it lands it tumbles over and has to stand up (just like in MechWarrior 4).
3. If it lands on another mech then damage is applied (just like when mechs run into each other), except the damage is velocity-times-tonnage.
There you go PGI... Problem solved. Make it happen.
