So, I just realized yesterday that not only can we save our builds in the mechlab, but we can also save builds in the store!

OMG this makes mech shopping so much easier!

You can go to the store, then make potential builds in the store's mechlab, save them, buy the mech, and instead of being like "what did I say I was gonna put on this mech?" you just load it up..

Great job!

Now if we could test builds in the training grounds before we buy the mech, and buy the mech as-is, already with a custom build... that would be awesome!

Testing Grounds with test builds is planned for the July Patch, according to the roadmap.

what i dont understand is why i cant go into the mech lab from the store, build the mech how i want it, and then buy that mech and only have to pay for the parts that i dont already own. put a buy button where the save button would be with the price +/- the changes ive made.

like i hate having to buy an xl engine just to replace it with an lfe and then sell the xl that i didnt want to buy at a loss.

It's a C-Bill sink. Getting rid of that reduces 80% of the grind. Which, while good for the player, does nothing for PGI.
